Cambodian Fish / Chilli Sauce Packaging & Wrapping

I thought these quick pic ref might be of interest. It shows the simple but effective way that Cambodians wrap together a set of 6x fish sauce bottles. I'm not sure what the 'twine is' but I suspect that this simple principle could be used with the cider/perry bottles maybe in some way? It massively reduces packaging requirements and poss could be used in conjunction with something 'stuffed' or included in the space below the tied tops of the bottles maybe? There are refs here that mirror the Japanese packaging talk we did too. Simplicity, ease of transportation, easy to assemble etc [although I'd suggest that you'd need to augment with padding or similar for the cider bottles].
