By the end of the optional session on weds 1st Dec [1pm] have commented individually on the associated Gdes3003 blog entry on:
1. The .pdf [No. 1] discusses [p3] a principle mentioned before in the module – that of ‘Cradle to Cradle’ [C2C]. Make sure that you understand the meaning of this idea and then comment on at least 2x considerations that you believe that your final designs has in common with this idea.
2. On .pdf page 5, there is discussion of origami and how experimenting with paper can promote visionary thinking. As the article says, origami normally ends up with a product as opposed to a package.. but.. can you see any way that either origami or it’s principles might be applied to your chosen final idea?
3. Pdf P7, suggests [lightbulb caption] that “the package must keep pace with the product”. Considering that Westons’ line of organic products are fast becoming big sellers and taking high prominence, how might the thinking behind your chosen design ‘keep pace’ with your product?
